Ep. 15: The Flatfoot Lost to Time: Meeting the Private Eye Humphreys

Chad and Judy, on the run from a rogue security firm, seek help from T. Humphreys, a gruff private investigator from Judy’s past. They enter his smoky office, hoping he can offer guidance about a flash drive connecting them to the firm’s dangerous schemes. Humphreys, streetwise but unwilling to cross into corruption, warns them of the risks and advises caution, hinting they may want to leave the flash drive with him for safety. Determined, Chad refuses, vowing to face the firm on their terms. Though Humphreys decides not to join them directly, he agrees to keep an eye out, leaving Chad and Judy to confront their fate with his hard-won wisdom as their only guide.
