Ep. 6, Part I, The Lament : Judy’s Regrets

At a nail salon, Judy meets with a friend, silently reflecting on the events with Chad. As she absently watches the nail technician work, guilt gnaws at her—she laments tricking Chad, pulling him into her tangled web. She had been promised money, a chance to leave the shadows of her past behind, but those same shadows still haunt her. Judy never intended to betray anyone, least of all Chad, but she had gotten caught up in pretending to be someone she wasn’t. Now, she fears that by stepping into this false identity, she may never truly escape and reclaim who she once was. The life she thought she could have is slipping further out of reach.
