A national television audience enjoyed a Monon Bell thriller, as DePauw University battled back from a 28-6 halftime deficit but fell short to their rivals from Wabash College, 28-24. The contest was carried nationally by ESPN2. The outcome gives the host Little Giants the prized Bell for a fourth straight year.

Wabash takes a two game lead in the all-time series, 47-45-9.
