Hello Everyone and Welcome To The Stanley Parable Half-Life 2 Mod. In this episode we start the mod and see how it compares to the full release game! More awaits us so lets dive right in and see what the narrator has in store for us today! The Stanley Parable is a first person exploration game. You will play as Stanley, and you will not play as Stanley. You will follow a story, you will not follow a story. You will have a choice, you will have no choice. The game will end, the game will never end. Contradiction follows contradiction, the rules of how games should work are broken, then broken again. This world was not made for you to understand. But as you explore, slowly, meaning begins to arise, the paradoxes might start to make sense, perhaps you are powerful after all. The game is not here to fight you; it is inviting you to dance.

I do almost all my gaming on linux! Linux gaming works really well with steam proton at this point which is nice. That and more and more game developers also support linux games directly which is a huge plus. In fact I use linux for everything, even the video editing, game and voice recordings, and everything else that goes into making these videos! Just in case you were curious, anyway congratulations for reading this far most people don’t your prize is knowing you like to be thorough which is a good trait!
