Lucasfilm is cooked and the future looks empty. The recently announced/leaked trilogy of films from Simon Kinberg is supposed to be a continuation of the Skywalker Saga with Rey front and center. Now it's being reported that Daisy Ridley will be taking on a mentor role like Obi Wan Kenobi did as a means to usher in a new generation of heroes.

How can the quintessential Mary Sue hope to impart any wisdom to a new hero when she spent three movies just being the best ever? As if the new trilogy wasn't a bad enough idea to begin with...
