- The mind will follow the breath, or the breath will follow the mind

- Anxiety is when the mind is leading the way, and the person’s mind is stuck in the past trauma or a future worry which can lead to erratic brainwave patterns and a dysregulated nervous system which thinks it’s caught in a past trauma or future potential

- The signal to the body that it is safe is the breath; When the breath is calm and the exhale is twice as long as the inhale the mind’s brain waves will began to follow the breath and drop into a brain wave state that signals to the body it is safe by dropping into a parasympathetic/rest/relax state

- For PTSD there are also powerful breathwork sessions that can help release trauma from the body (trauma is polarized frequency and the body keeps the score or stores this) Higher oscillation entrains lower vibration and with prolonged breathwork sessions, the high frequency of breath/prana/chi will spontaneously release the trauma in the body
