Amsterdam police have made in excess of 60 captures after what specialists called "derisive racist savagery" against Israeli football fans.

A plane conveying football allies brought back from the Dutch capital by the Israeli government arrived on Friday at Israel's Ben Gurion air terminal after the conflicts on Thursday, which occurred after an Europa Association match among Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The city hall leader of Amsterdam, Femke Halsema, portrayed an "explosion" of discrimination against Jews with "quick in and out" assaults on the meeting allies.

"Men on bikes bungled the city searching for Israeli football fans. It was a quick in and out. I can undoubtedly figure out that this brings back recollections of massacres," Halsema said. "Our city has been profoundly harmed. Jewish culture has been profoundly undermined. This is an explosion of discrimination against Jews that I desire to at no point ever find in the future."
