Zombie Radio - Initial Zombie Attacks in Pennsylvania Broadcast

One of the first actual reports of the zombie pandemic began in Pennsylvania when bands of undead attacked random individuals and began spreading the disease. These coincided with multiple attacks in the southern states that were mostly ignored, but the Pennsylvania reports began popular in national radio and television broadcasts. As the undead began to move forward, public media was slow to describe the attacks as zombie or variations such as rabid, but instead following the drug overdose description, which did not go over well with those that understood the distraction in media coverage.
