What is the Deep State?

Everybody talks about the deep state, but what is the deep state? Well, simply put, it's the conglomerate of intelligence communities that surveil the world and collect intelligence data. Here in the US, that's the CIA, NSA, and FBI, amongst plenty of others. So, if these agencies are the orchestrators of world events and geopolitics, then what would their primary goal be? Well, probably to surveil, and to surveil better and better each year. And if these agencies are behind the orchestrations of elections and major political events, well, then they're probably going to ensure those events play out such that the deep state can improve its intelligence gathering and surveillance capabilities in the process.
