Cheddar Jalapeño Breadsticks | Blackstone Griddles
Chef Leo is bringing some serious flavor with his jalapeño cheddar pull-apart breadsticks, made from extra dough. This cheesy, spicy creation gets perfectly crisped in the pizza oven and pairs like a dream with ranch or warm pizza sauce. Don't let that old dough go to waste—turn it into something you won’t be able to stop eating!

Ingredients
Dough
1 cup Cheddar cheese, diced small
2 Jalapeños
Crisco, for greasing the pan
Olive oil, for drizzling
Ranch or pizza sauce, for dipping
Instructions
1. Prep: Dice the cheddar and jalapeños uniformly. Grease an 8x10 pan with Crisco, coating the bottom and sides.
2. Dough: Gently stretch the dough to fit the pan without tearing. Spread jalapeños and cheddar evenly over the dough, pressing them in slightly.
3. Roll: Starting at one edge, loosely roll the dough to create layers of cheese and jalapeño. Place the rolled dough in the pan and gently press it out to reach the pan’s edges. Cover and let it proof for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
4. Bake: Preheat the pizza oven to 350-400°F. Drizzle olive oil on top of the dough and make six cuts to form breadsticks. Bake in the pizza oven for 10-12 minutes until golden and puffed. If the tops start to brown too quickly, place a flat pan on top to prevent over-browning.
5. Serve: Carefully release the breadsticks from the pan, and serve with ranch or pizza sauce for dipping. Enjoy.
