Tonight’s topic is: Why did God allow the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D.?
You may think: “Well, that obvious.” But is it?

The topic of the Holy Temple is important today because it appears we may soon see the Temple,
הֵיכַל קֹדֶשׁ Heykhal Kodesh, being rebuilt in Jerusalem. Just how, in light of the current situation, I don’t know. But, it will happen. There are various opinions out there by Christians, such as:

• “A rebuilt Temple would be an affront to Jesus.”
• “A rebuilt Temple is unnecessary because it is obsolete: the Holy Spirit resides now in Believers.”

There is another opinion out there: among the talmidim of Messiah Yeshua of Nazeret:

• No, a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem is not an affront, nor is it obsolete.
Our opinion is based on a Covenantal understanding of Scripture. . . Did you know that in Israel, the 3rd Temple plans have been drawn, Temple articles remade (except the ark of the covenant)? As we speak, the Aaronic Priesthood and their helper Levites are being trained. Did you know that around two years ago, 2 suitable red heifers were sent to Israel from Texas. A herd is now being raised in Israel. They are being watched carefully to see if any of them will be acceptable for the Red Heifer sacrifice. As per Scriptural directives in Numbers 19, the ashes of the Red Heifer provide ritual purification of people and objects defiled by death exposure . . . "
