46. Jesus Cleans House (Mark 11:12-26)

On Monday of Holy Week, Jesus returned to Jerusalem, and went straight to the temple. Finding in the outer court all the vendors and money changers, he disrupted their enterprises with violent objections to their abuse of the holy precincts. His actions represented a trial of sorts, as he gathered evidence that would be used to frame the verdict he would announce the following day.
