Exploring Kerry's mansion, now I kind of want to know more about what happened during the years since Johnny's attack on Arasaka tower.

There's no shortage of material written about Eurodyne's career after Silverhand disappears. The various datashards and messages scattered around the mansion allude to both Kerry's public image and his personal experiences.

They could have tapped into any number of narrative points - have Kerry (with V present) go through a face-to-face encounter with his ex and their kids or something, the messages on his laptop indicated the possibility of this happening. The follow on quests could have been V helping Kerry on a path to healing the estranged relationship with his family, or optionally made it worse if the player felt so inclined.

Instead it's just his very brief vendetta with Us Cracks.
