This build can mitigate Requital and Master of None global modifiers. It allows the player to either shoot from very long range or to use cover-to-cover movements to safely manuever or close the distance to the target. The problem with Requital is that its a very unnatural way to force players to fight at close range. Usually when a player advances on an enemy, they are only doing it because the target is judged to be vulnerable and in a position that doesn't expose the player to too many other enemies. Requital destroys these tactical considerations by making it a random requirement to fight at close range. So, when you do advance, you're doing so unsafely and exposed to many enemies. Hence the need to stay in blindfire positions.
NOTES ABOUT THE NEGOTIATOR'S VARIANT
1) Since blindfire allows players to be in cover almost the entire fight, I figured all blue cores could be switched to red... for now. I may get rid of the shield as well, probably in favor of Banshee Pulse. This is especially powerful combined with my passive modifier QUICKEN.
2) Negotiator's Dilemma with Coyote's Mask helps maximize Critical Hit Chance without needing to dedicate armor mod slots. This allows for higher Critical Hit Damage and thus more upfront damage. Striker's variant can still outdamage this build.
3) Dark Winter is now a VERY interesting choice with Negotiator's Dilemma. New weapon mods can push its effective range past 30 meters AND all deaths caused by the Negotiator's Dilemma set COUNTS AS KILLING AN ENEMY WITH A CRITICAL HIT (thus activating Perfect Killer). And like Sleipnir, Dark Winter can be used from blindfire positions at long range.
This build allows players to fight almost every battle from a blindfire position with "almost" laser accuracy. By staying in cover and cover-to-cover, players can cancel out two of the global modifiers that all enemies now have... Requital (damage reflection at midrange) and Master of None (incendiary bullets at short range, shock bullets at long range). Being able to accurately blindfire from cover is a good way to avoid all the problems these enemy modifiers create.
