UNDER A MINUTE: Radical Libertarianism

Here’s my sub-sixty-second case for radical Libertarianism: The power of government is like Thanos’s glove or the one ring— it’s an almighty power; the very fact it exists at all is dangerous, because it will inevitably be corrupted and abused. You can see this in the revolving door of regulatory capture that RFK Jr. has exposed over the years: The high-up regulators at the FDA know that, if they regulate Pfizer the way that Pfizer execs want them to, then they’ll get a nice, cushy, high-paying executive position at Pfizer once their term is complete. Same with the Fed: The higher-ups there know that if they control the price of money, also known as interest rates, so that it best benefits the biggest firms out there, BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, etc., they’ll end up getting a nice, cushy, high-paying executive position at one of those firms. But, if neither the FDA nor the Fed existed, there would be no almighty power to be attained to take control over that industry, and no almighty glove or ring for BlackRock or Pfizer to take control of and abuse for their own selfish gain, and thus the market would be free. Obviously this is just scratching the surface but if you all are interested, I’d be more than happy to dive deeper on this sort of stuff.
