Nominated for 8 Academy Awards and winning 2 for Best Screenplay and Best Film Editing, this little gem was directed by Peter Weir and released in 1985 - (Thom Noble, who won for editing also edited Red Dawn, The Mosquito Coast, and Thelma and Louise.)
