A look at the two shuffles which are associated with the late drummer Jeff Porcarro, the Lido shuffle and the Rosanna shuffle, which are closely related to one another. Also demonstrated is how to practice by slowing down in order to gain a better understanding by allowing the mind to absorb and the limbs to learn the motion.

While Jeff could play many different types of shuffles, these two were his trademark grooves which made him not only stand out but sent drummers everywhere scrambling to learn how to play them. The groove interlocks between the snare drum and the bass drum, giving both of them a smooth feel while sounding complex.
