2 Corinthians 3:1-18

False apostles were accusing Paul of being a "self-promoter" and not truly called or qualified to be an apostle. "Where are his letters of commendation?" they questioned. Paul does not produce letters written on parchment, but on human hearts. The Corinthian believers were Paul's commendation. They were once lost in the bondage of their sin. But, now they are forgiven, redeemed, alive and free in Jesus. Unlike the false apostles who were encouraging the Corinthian believers to submit to the law of Moses, Paul proclaimed true salvation under the new covenant in Jesus Christ. There can be not better commendation for Paul than lives that are forever changed!
