Goldak U-238 Geiger Counter

Some of you might remember my video on this one about 5 years ago https://youtu.be/ur5Z8f7FdfE I've had this thing out several time trying to figure it out. Well, after trying again connecting 45v sources in different configurations to the three possible connection points I hit upon the correct way. So here it is finally working. I couldn't get the needed 900+ - volts from it to run the original GM tube . It was putting out around 400 volts. so I used a small glass 400v tube and it works well enough. I really like how they mounted the neon bulb in the meter.
