A car crashed into the Sinclair gas station off I-29, south of the Barry Road exit early Thursday morning. The driver told police he went inside to grab some food, came back out and got into his car to take off his shoes. According to the driver, one of his shoes got stuck between the brake and the accelerator, causing the car to crash into the building. A customer who was inside when the incident happened was injured but is expected to be OK.
