Abingdon Has a New Bike Park! The Meadows Sports Complex Abingdon

We went to Abingdon, Virginia to check out their brand new bike park at The Meadows Sports Complex, and we had a great time! Abingdon's new bike park has 3 distinct areas, there's a skills course around the perimeter, an asphalt pump track, and a dirt jump line with wooden jumps. I brought my Specialized Status 140, as that's the only working bike I currently own. It is a full suspension bike, and it does work, I still had a great time at the park, however if you own a dirt jumper or bmx bike I would suggest bringing that to the bike park. The pump track has some tight turns and the jump lines are a tad abrupt, so a smaller bike frame with less suspension (which will steal your speed) would be beneficial.
