Israeli soccer fans were attacked in Amsterdam following the Europa League match between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ajax, leading Dutch authorities to condemn the violence as antisemitic.

After Ajax’s victory, assailants on scooters targeted Maccabi fans in “hit-and-run” attacks across the city, injuring dozens.

Amsterdam’s mayor and Dutch Prime Minister condemned the violence, calling it “unacceptable,” while police arrested 63 people.

Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Netanyahu, likened the attacks to antisemitic incidents from the 1940s and demanded accountability, CNN has reported.
