‘Complete clown’: UK Foreign Secretary hails Donald Trump despite insult

Sky News reporter Danica De Giorgio has hit out at UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy after has downplayed his previous slanderous comments about Donald Trump.
Mr Lammy in 2017 on X described Trump as a 'racist and KKK/neo-Nazi sympathiser'.
The foreign secretary has since however congratulated Trump on his election triumph and said his previous remarks about the then leader of the US were 'old news'.
“This guy, David Lamy, seems like a complete clown. How embarrassing are these comments?” Ms De Giorgio said.
