A fast-moving brush fire in Ventura County, California, has grown to over 10,000 acres, prompting evacuations for 14,000 residents and a red flag warning for extreme fire risk.

The Mountain Fire, still 0% contained, has injured at least two people and damaged structures, though exact counts are pending due to dangerous conditions.

High winds up to 100 mph are hampering firefighting efforts, grounding fixed-wing aircraft and making containment challenging, ABC News has reported.
