Tesla Time Travel: Unraveling Ohio's Hidden History

In this first episode of Scott's EV Trips and Tricks, join Scott and his father on an electrifying journey through Ohio's rich historical landscape. Driving a Tesla, they demonstrate how modern EV technology can seamlessly blend with explorations of America's past.

The adventure begins with a crash course in Tesla charging options, debunking common misconceptions about electric vehicle travel. As they cruise through Ohio, viewers are treated to impromptu stops at iconic landmarks, including a classic Mail Pouch Tobacco barn, a testament to rural advertising history.

The journey takes them to the picturesque McClelland Covered Bridge, a 19th-century engineering marvel that still stands today. The duo then visits the historic Spread Eagle Tavern in Hanoverton, where they unexpectedly encounter the death mask of infamous gangster Pretty Boy Floyd.

The episode culminates in a pilgrimage to the site where Pretty Boy Floyd met his end near East Liverpool, coinciding with the 90th anniversary of the outlaw's death. Scott reflects on how this location has changed - and remained the same - since his first visit in 1994.
