Singapore talks inspire hope in Korean Americans

North Korea's history is rife with human rights abuses and citizens being prevented from contact with the outside world. Members of the global Korean diaspora hope that Kim Jong Un's decision to meet with United States President Donald Trump could be a sign of greater willingness to engage with the global community — particularly with South Korea.
