Lil Durk arrested on Federal Charges!!

Lil Durk, born Durk Devontay Banks, is a Grammy-winning rapper and leader of the Chicago-based collective Only the Family (OTF). On October 24, 2024, he was arrested in Florida on federal charges of orchestrating a murder-for-hire plot. Authorities allege that Durk ordered the 2022 killing of Saviay'a Robinson, cousin of rapper Quando Rondo, in retaliation for the 2020 murder of King Von, a close associate of Durk. The indictment claims that Durk offered financial incentives and music opportunities within OTF to those involved in the plot. He is currently held without bond in Broward County Jail, awaiting transfer to Los Angeles for further legal proceedings.
