SBC Family,

Great day! Tonight we will talk more about ministry. Ministry comes with opposition and affliction, but God gives us strength and comfort.

A lot of people don't want to be in ministry because they are afraid of the difficulties. Paul encourages us! God's word is so powerful that it changes lives! There is nothing more wonderful than lives being changed. So, while there may be difficulty, the benefits far outweigh the difficulties.

Along the way we get to be involved in defeating Satan. We can all be in ministry. It is not just pastors and teachers that are in ministry. Everyone of us in some capacity should minister. To our children, to a bible study, to a nephew or niece, to a friend or co-worker. So don't be ashamed of the gospel, it is the power of God unto salvation. And now more than ever under a new Presidential administration we need to pray for the salvation of men in this country. Our work is not done. In a way it has just begun. What great mercy.

For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience,
31 so these also now have been disobedient, that because of the mercy shown to you they also may now be shown mercy.
32 For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all.
Rom. 11:30-32

Grace to you,
Jeremy
