The rally "LET CUBA LIVE" at East 42 Street and Vanderbilt Ave. Manahatta, Lenapehoking (Manhattan, New York City), was on October 27, 2024. The Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations and the United Nations are a few blocks from the demonstration in support of Cuba. People said, "Cuba YES, Blockade NO!"

"Stand with Cuba just days before the UN votes on its yearly resolution to end the U.S. Blockade. The people say: #DropTheBlockade #LetCubaLive," said The People's Forum before the demonstration.

On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the United States of America (Joe Biden/Kamala Harris) and Israel (Benjamin Netanyahu) voted against Cuba at the United Nations.

On 10/30/2024, 187 countries voted in support of Cuba. 187 countries demand that the US blockade against Cuba must end NOW.

"The UN General Assembly on Wednesday once again urged the United States to end its economic, commercial, and financial embargo on Cuba, renewing a demand it has made annually since 1992.

The resolution, titled “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba,” passed with 187 votes in favor, two against (Israel and the US), and one abstention (Moldova)."
