While hoping to find something that might protect my TV from lightning damage, I came across this SELECTRIX SURGE ADAPTOR. Unfortunately it nowhere mentions that it will protect against a surge caused by a lightning strike, but I suppose there isn't any guarantee they can give of that. Still might protect against a lightning strike that is farther away or not that severe? Probably. I'm using it anyway.
