Brown’s Town, Jamaica, now offers free public Wi-Fi, enhancing internet access for residents, students, and businesses and supporting digital inclusion. St. Ann North Western Member of Parliament Krystal Lee expressed her excitement, emphasizing the transformative benefits this connectivity brings to the community. This initiative is part of a larger strategy by the Universal Service Fund (USF) to deliver cutting-edge connectivity across Jamaica, with plans to reach around 20 sites nationwide. Aimed at bridging the digital divide, this new service enables easier access to online resources for education, work, and communication, marking significant progress in improving technological infrastructure in Jamaica's rural and underserved areas.
