Technical Glitch in New Jersey

A "technical glitch" occurred with the voting machines in Burlington County, New Jersey today that the mainstream media promises wasn't nefarious in any way whatsoever that caused voters to wait over three hours in line. Why do we use these machines when they malfunction literally every election?
