The tragic loss of Peanut the squirrel and Fred the raccoon has sparked a firestorm online, as the targeting of these innocent creatures seems utterly senseless, and the public's reaction is intense. These domesticated wild animals brought endless joy to so many with their adorable antics and charming personalities. Yet, someone reported the owners, leading to a shocking raid on their home, culminating in the nonsensical decision to euthanize the animals. We demand answers about how this could happen, who made that call, and how law enforcement can justify such extreme measures over a seemingly minor issue.
