Can New LA Metro Safety Plan Stop Crime on Subway Trains & Buses

The Los Angeles Metro transportation system is dealing with some overwhelming safety challenges as crime continues to increase on Metro subway trains and buses. Riders are worried about everything from violent crimes and homelessness to people using drugs and fair evasion. Now LA Metro is developing its own safety department so the transportation system can improve security measures without having to constantly rely on outside law enforcement sources like LAPD and the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department.
