Presidential Ads Ratio, The Week Of Election

Last week, we released our study of the ads ratio between the 2 major party candidates, that were put out between October 23rd to Oct 29. We now will reveal what our study found for the ratio from October 30th through November 4th.

Last week, the ratio favored Harris, 30-13. This week things changed as the ratio favored Trump in a closer 6-5 ratio, with more Trump ads. Trump seemed to go big with online ads, as other forms of media were more evenly used.

Now the last study, we did not track if ads were put out/approved by a candidate. This week we did our best to do so, with some ads, mostly online & mailed, our group were unable to find confirmation of the ad approved by either candidate. So those ads were not counted as approved by candidates. Of those confirmed, 19% of Trump's ads were "approved" by him. Of the Harris ads, 13% were approved by her.

Here are some notes from our group on the study;

- A pro Harris mail in ad, not approved by Harris, used explicit language.

- There were Kamala ads mailed as "Voter Guides".

- There were ads sent from the Democrat Party, that only encouraged people to vote, & no where in the ad, was there any hint of a suggestion of who to vote for.
