Suspected illegal migrant faces charges in death of 25-year-old Georgia mom.

Minelys Zoe Rodriguez-Ramirez, a Puerto Rican fitness influencer, was found dead in Georgia after going missing on October 22, 2024. The 25-year-old, who gained popularity on TikTok through fitness content and personal stories, was last seen at a Walmart in Cornelia. She had reportedly gone there to sell a photograph, but her fiancé, Julio Tovor, received an unusual text from her phone later that evening. The message, written in unfamiliar language, raised suspicions, and when Rodriguez-Ramirez didn’t return, Tovor and her mother reported her missing the next day.

After her car was discovered abandoned nearby with personal items left behind, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) initiated a search. A week later, her remains were found on Furniture Drive, not far from the Walmart. Authorities soon arrested Angel DeJesus Rivera-Sanchez, 24, on kidnapping and murder charges in connection with her death. Rodriguez-Ramirez’s mother, who described her daughter as strong and resilient, suspects Rivera-Sanchez may not have acted alone, calling for continued investigation.

Rodriguez-Ramirez, who leaves behind a 9-year-old daughter, is remembered for her vibrant personality and dedication to fitness.
