The Shocking Truth About Santa After Christmas in Hermosillo

In today's vlog we're having lunch at La Tatagüila, drinking cookie atole, discovering what Santa Claus does after Christmas, visiting the most amazing Christmas decorations in the richest houses in Hermosillo, finding orange trees everywhere, knowing the story behind the Arabian Nights house in Hermosillo, enjoying downtown Hermosillo, appreciating the Deer Dance, getting Baileys coffee, and watching the Christmas decorations in the house come to life.

The Mexican Adventure continues. Today I had the opportunity to observe the culture about food, beverages, holidays, community, family interactions, underground stories, and identity.

It is inevitable to perceive the differences between my culture and Mexican culture. My favorite difference is the fact that Northern Mexican celebrate the day after Christmas as the day Santa rests because he is tired of giving gifts around the world. That's cute!

My second best favorite difference is the fact that there are orange trees with untouched oranges all over Hermosillo. The frutal tree culture is something that I have been wishing for my country since I was 19 years old or something like that. Being able to see that happening in another city is surreal!

And we're on day 3 of the trip! 3/22.
