The news of Christ begins to spread. Join Amy as she takes us through Acts 9:10 - 10:23 as we learn about how the disciples save Saul from death after he begins to boldly preach in the name of Jesus. Are you being persecuted or rejected by those who used to accept you? We don't hear from Saul/Paul for a while, and the focus shifts over to Peter. The same Peter who denied Christ 3 times is now being redeemed through by walking in the footsteps of His Savior. Peter heals a bed-bound man by the name of Aeneas and tells him to arise, get up, and take your bed, just as Jesus did in Mark 2:1-12 with the paralytic man. Then Peter is summoned to the house of Tabitha, a Godly woman whom has passed from illness. Peter asks to be left alone with her, kneels and prays, and then tells Tabitha to arise. He presents her to her family and loved ones. Peter had witnessed Jesus resurrecting the 12 year old girl in Mark 38 and was following the same pattern as Jesus. Thirty miles surrounding this miracle in all directions, people turned to Christ! Peter's heart is then tested by God in a dream. Will he obey or cling on to the old laws he was so accustomed to? We also begin the story of Cornelius, the first Gentile convert. Who will show greater faith?

This is a verse-by-verse study Bible study, allowing deep understanding and context of God's Word. This audio-only recording was adapted from a live Zoom meeting that originally took place on 11/03/24.
