The Mental Gymnastics of Politics

This is simply the backstory that I had to make up to make it all makes sense if I wanted my integrity intact when I left the ballot box and I've been watching the news. This could be one of the ways you could explain it all away, just being the common place standard prerequisite mental gymnastics that you have to do during an election cycle if you want to maintain any kind of respect for anyone running for a public office.
