Taking a quick break to update you on how things are progressing with the Fall Orchid Shuffle on the patio in S'ern Spain. In comparison, moving the orchids inside 4th week of October is 2 weeks premature, compared to Fall 2023. I have not been caught off guard though. Everything is ready for their big move, but after the Deluge of October 2024, my physically capabilities have been taxed, so while I could hustle to get them all moved indoors within a day, physically I am unable to do so. Those that remain outside for the coming night of 13ºC / 53ºF, I have to keep my fingers crossed that my calculation based on radiant warmth, will hold the ambient temperature higher than the forecast displays.
