ALL YOU CAN DO
(Written by Ben Antoniadis)

I spent so many days, longing for the past,
spent so many nights, longing for the last
Now I’m old and grey and there’s somethin’ on my tongue
Seems I’m too late, too old to die young

I heard someone say, you’re the first man you meet
Wherever you travel, the first one you greet
If I could escape, then maybe I would
Maybe best not to know yourself better than you should

So sing your song
And hope the angels sing along
Hope that something rings true
Maybe that’s all you can do

I know myself, well enough to know,
I’m just a shell of the man that I once knowed
But somehow I’ll use that room to grow
Maybe where there’s despair, that’s where you find hope

Though you can try too hard to make your mark, spend too many moments forgetting where you are
Just remember life is short on this crazy, cosmic ride
And when it’s over it ain’t over, ain’t nobody dies

So sing your song
And hope the angels sing along
Hope that something rings true
Maybe that’s all you can do
And when it all goes wrong
You can still sing your song
For the hurt won’t last
Every moment will pass

So sing your song
And hope the angels sing along
Hope that something rings true
Maybe that’s all you can do
And when it all goes wrong
You can still sing your song
For the hurt won’t last
Every moment will pass
