Yes. It's Blade. No question. If you don't agree, change my mind!
Blade is one of the franchises I loved since my early childhood, not only because of the comics but because the first movie felt like a revelation to me, back in the day. And then they let Guillermo Del Toro create the sequel, BLADE 2, which I count as one of the best sequels out there, for real.
I'd even say that I'd enjoy the second film evenn more today, than the first one, but Blade 1 still stands as the ultimate Wesley Snipes movie for me.
Now... they're speaking for years that there will be a new Blade movie, which originallyy should've released in 2023. But it seems as if this movie never arrives since it's being delayed everytime the production should continue. Maybe that's for the better, I don't know. I'm always hoping for the best but prepare for the worst. And I cannot imagine that they will come up with anything even close to the quality of Blade1 & Blade 2. But well, we'll see what happens to the franchise soon enough. Fortunately all of us can go back to the first movies and enjoyy them or pick up the comics to dive even further into the world of our favorite vampire hunter.
