Authorities in New York break into the home of a man who runs an animal shelter. They have received an anonymous tip that the relationship with 2 of the animals has crossed the line from sheltered animals to pets and the bureaucracy does not allow that.
They then proceed to kill the animals.
Was the life as loved pets really so horrible that they were better off dead?
Bureaucratic government overreach at its worst.
