Fifty children killed in Gaza’s Jabalia after Israeli strikes, UN says

The UN’s Children’s Agency has said 50 children have been killed in 48 hours in Jabalia in northern Gaza.

The city has been under intense attack for weeks, with Israel saying it is trying to prevent Hamas from regrouping.

UNICEF’s director Catherine Russell said it was another example of “the grave consequences of indiscriminate strikes on civilians
She added that the entire population of northern Gaza was at “imminent risk of death from disease, famine and ongoing bombardment.....
