The Covid Inquiry was established in September last year to consider the Australian FEDERAL government’s responses to the pandemic. What we really need is an independent Royal Commission which looks into the totality of the response from ALL levels of government and all arms of the bureaucracy. But the Health Minister MARK BUTLER and the Treasurer JIM CHALMERS were tripping over themselves to water down any blame politicians and bureaucrats might have to take, when they released the report at a news conference this week.
