How to fix daylight saving tima

The more I think about this, the more interested I am in how it is a lens on a bunch of broader phenomenon. Right now, there are a bunch of pieces being published about how particular groups are upset or worried about sticking with daylight time all year round rather than standard time. But, if we were going to be sticking with standard time all year round, there would also be a bunch of articles about why that's bad.

We only talk about the drawbacks of the things we are doing, which means we don't spend a lot of time thinking about the drawbacks of the alternatives. Tricky business...

Anyway, the only way we fix this is if enough people don't care...so that's where I'm at.
