THE DARK HISTORY OF PSYCHIATRY

👇🏽The Dark History of Psychiatry:

- Psychiatry’s history has dark roots. The word psyche means soul from which the word psychiatrist comes from. However the dark history began when psychiatrists started to view the human psyche as a body and not a soul.

- This led to theories like Wilhelm Wundt’s view of humans as stimulus-response beings and Francis Galton’s eugenics led to practices like racial hygiene, sterilization, and ultimately, the Holocaust.

- Not too long ago, psychiatrists used to take out the frontal lobe/seat of judgement of the brain with an ice pick and say they cured the person; I am convinced in the not too distant future we are going to realize that the current psychiatric medications are chemically lobotomizing our children and parents, essentially numbing them down so they can function in a sick society..

- The current system relies heavily on psychiatric diagnoses from the DSM, and these diagnoses lack reliability and lead to cycles of medication dependence, side effects, and hospitalizations.

- The current western mental health system is a sick model care and does not treat the root cause or cure anything because curing someone doesn’t make long term money for big Pharma companies.

- Good news there are treatments, techniques, and technologies that can help treat the root cause.

-That’s one of the reasons why I’m starting the online community called THE MENTAL WELLNESS CLUB to share with you or your loved one, the root cause treatments that really work.
