North Gaza ‘apocalyptic,’ everyone at ‘imminent risk’ of death, warns UN

U.N. officials have warned of an “apocalyptic” crisis in northern Gaza, with civilians at extreme risk from disease, hunger, and violence as Israel’s military offensive against Hamas continues.

Humanitarian access is severely restricted, leaving essential supplies scarce, and aid workers unsafe.

U.S. officials are pressing Israel to allow more aid to reach Palestinians, with USAID Administrator Samantha Power voicing urgent concerns over the humanitarian situation, U.S. News & World Report has reported.
