Sewer - Demo Version

First things first. Sewer is not about anyone specific. Here's how the song came about.

Approximately 15 years ago I helped a buddy out with a sewer/septic. When I came home, sat down, and played my guitar a bit I came up with the main rhythm for this song. I jokingly named it Sewer, in memory of the sewer/septic I worked on that day.

Then, for what ever reason one day playing the rhythm I joking sang "your mouth is a sewer, baby". That was probably 14-15 years ago too. Every time after that, when I played the rhythm I'd laugh and sing Your Mouth Is A Sewer Baby.

Fast forward to recently. I came back to this song which was an unfinished Cakewalk Sonar Platinum project that basically had the drums and rhythm. Like with the Owego Omego song, I wanted to save the original project and challenged myself to finish it. So, I ran with the original Sewer name and wrote the rest of the song based on the one line "your mouth is a sewer, baby".

By the way, my wife loves the song.

Not sure why, but my ribbing mother in law song called Stuck In A Hole seems to be liked most by woman - go figure.
