45th In our series the Prophet Micah

I. The Warning From God to Israel  - Deuteronomy 28
* A. The abundant blessings promised with obedience - 28:1-3 
* B. The curses which emanate from idolatry, disobedience and forsaking the Lord God
* 1. In every area of life  - Deuteronomy 28:15-20
* 2. In battle with your enemies - Deuteronomy 28:25
* 3. Oppression your from foreign enemies - Deuteronomy 28:33
* 4. Oppression in your own land from strangers - 28:43-47

II. After the Judgment of God upon the Kingdom of Judah - Micah 7:9
* A. God would bring restoration and blessing on the repentant remnant of the kingdom of Judah
* 1. The remnant would not include those killed in the two wars, nor those lost in exile
* 2. The remnant are those faithful worshipers of the One True God who return to the land of promise
* B. In the ultimate fulfillment the nations will be defeated and fear God of Israel - Micah 7:16-17
* 1. Micah stands in awe and reverence of the God would who pardon and restore the remnant - Micah 7:18
* a. A pardon is needed by sinners - Psalm 7:11
* b. Jesus is our propitiation - 1 John 4:10
* c. God’s wrath is appeased only at the cross
* 2. God delights in mercy - 2 Peter 3:9 
* 3. What idol of any nation is like the One True God?
* a. Not the moon idol, nor the 300 million idols of Hinduism, nor the nothing idol of Buddhism 
* b. There is no God like the One True God of the Bible 
* 4. Therefore let everyone serve, honor and obey Him alone
